To connect and learn new things is never a bad idea!
We recently had the opportunity to invite some friends from Stockholm over to Sarajevo to meet with our team and explore the city and its culture. But let’s rewind… how did this begin?
When I met Logcast Co-founder Johanna Hoof, she talked so passionately about their product that connecting in person was the only way to go.
What is so interesting about the product Johanna speaks of? Well, it is quite unique… a different kind of social network, one that puts the power and control back in the hands of creators and its users. Today, it is used by thousands of people in more than 60 countries. Logcast is a next-gen streaming platform which allows its users to share short-form voice clips and has been dubbed the “love child of Spotify and Instagram”.
Whether you’re a professional creator or just love to share your life with friends and family on social media, you can use the app to share your life in audio, build audio groups or communities called “Circles”, and listen to the thoughts of your favorite people. It’s been called “the next generation of podcasting” — with spontaneous audio content recorded and shared in the moment, as opposed to the highly-curated nature of podcasts.
The company is also the first in the world to allow its users to create and sell voice-based NFTs, something the company calls NFMs or “non-fungible memories.”
Spending three days together sharing knowledge, taking part in workshops, and sightseeing were inspiring for everyone involved. What did we learn from this experience and time spent together? We are not in this alone. There are so many individuals who want to find the right people who are passionate about building impactful products. All you have to do is to open yourself up to listening, collaborating and being honest about challenges and end goals.
How else do we stay relevant in the future?
