2. What We Process, and Why
We process different data about different people, for different purposes and on different legal grounds. Find yourself in the table below.
| If you are | What we process | Why | Legal basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visiting this website | Pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device and browser, and the cookie identifiers listed in section 8. | To see how the site is used and to improve it, and to measure our advertising. | Your consent, given in the cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies rest on our legitimate interest in a site that works. | Per cookie, as listed in section 8. |
| Receiving our marketing | Name, email address, phone number, company, role, and how you engage with what we send. | To send event invitations, guides, articles and information about our services. | Your consent, and our legitimate interest in business-to-business communication. | Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we keep a suppression record so we do not contact you again. |
| A contact at a client or a prospective client | Name, contact details, role, correspondence, meeting notes and the documents of the engagement. | To agree, run and follow up an engagement. | Performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in the business relationship where the contract is with your employer. | For the engagement and the period in which a claim can be brought. Accounting material is kept seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (bokföringslagen 1999:1078). |
| Applying for a job with us | Your application and CV, interview notes, any test results and a contract proposal. | To assess your application. | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in documenting the decision. | For the recruitment process. We keep your application on file afterwards only if you have agreed to it. |
| Attending an event we run | Name, email address, company, role, dietary needs where you tell us, and whether you attended. | To run the event and to follow up with people who came. | Your consent when you register, and our legitimate interest in the follow-up. | For the event and our follow-up, and afterwards under the marketing row above where you have opted in. |
3. Where the Data Comes From
Most of it comes from you: a form on this site, an email, a meeting, an event registration or a job application. Some comes from your use of the site through the cookies in section 8. We may also use public professional sources such as LinkedIn or a company website to keep a business contact record current.
4. Who We Share It With
Your data is shared inside Reeinvent with the people who need it. Outside Reeinvent we use the following processors and recipients:
| Who | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot, Inc. | Website platform, CRM, forms, email, chat and analytics. | United States (this portal is hosted in HubSpot's North America region) |
| Google LLC | Google Analytics, only with your consent. | United States |
| LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company | Advertising measurement and audiences, only with your consent. | Ireland, with onward transfer to the United States |
| Cinode AB | Consultant profiles and CVs. | Sweden |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Security and traffic management, through HubSpot. | United States |
| Our accountant and auditor | Bookkeeping and statutory audit. | Sweden |
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example a request from the Swedish Tax Agency. We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers Outside the EU and EEA
Some of the providers above process data in the United States. Those transfers rest on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional safeguards. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply to a specific transfer.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it;
- have data that is wrong corrected, and incomplete data completed;
- have your data deleted where we no longer have a reason to keep it;
- object to processing we base on legitimate interest, including profiling;
- object at any time to direct marketing, with no reason given;
- ask us to restrict processing while a dispute about it is resolved;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format, where processing rests on consent or a contract;
- know who has had access to your data;
- complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email info@reeinvent.com. We answer within one month, and we will tell you if we need longer.
Withdrawing Consent
Where we process data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew.
Providing Data Is Voluntary
You are free not to give us your data. In some situations we then cannot act: starting an engagement, assessing a job application, or meeting a legal requirement such as tax or social security rules.
7. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access, and we adapt them as technology moves.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, do the same job and are covered here.
On your first visit a banner asks you to accept or decline cookies that are not strictly necessary. Strictly necessary cookies are set either way, because the site cannot work without them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser and reloading the page, and you can block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings.
